Information we handle

Depending on how you use SMAY, information may include your name, email address, phone number, business name and profile, office details, and messages you send us.

When you request an appointment, we handle the contact details and request information you submit, such as the selected office, date and time, your message, and files you choose to attach. Business administrators may also add appointment status updates and internal notes.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain SMAY services, respond to enquiries, verify business account access, coordinate appointment requests, send booking and account emails, protect the site from abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Appointments and business accounts

When you book with a business, the details you submit are made available to that business so it can review and manage your request. The business may have its own privacy practices for the information it receives; contact that business if you have questions about its use of your appointment details.

Businesses using SMAY are responsible for the information they enter, their authorised users, and any notices they provide to their clients. SMAY provides the booking and management tools that support those activities.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the website and deliver requested features. Based on the current service, these include:

• Supabase for account authentication, business and appointment records, and file storage.
• Resend for contact enquiries and appointment or service emails.
• Google reCAPTCHA to check contact-form submissions for automated abuse.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the requested service, support business records, protect the platform, resolve issues, or meet legal requirements. Retention may depend on the business account that manages an appointment.

We use access controls and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the platform. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information that we handle by emailing contact@smay.in. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. For appointment information held by a business, contact that business as well; we may need its instructions to complete a request.

You can also manage cookies and browser storage through your device settings. Some account, security, or booking features may not work if required storage is blocked.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as SMAY services or applicable requirements change. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
